Our gala fundraiser is typically hosted in the Spring. However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, last year’s event was cancelled. The announcement permitting large, indoor events came without enough time to plan a gala for this year. The gala is the organization’s largest fundraiser of the year, so not hosting the event for two years in a row brings about some financial strain.
Nonetheless, we are committed to serving victims and survivors of domestic violence. We continue to have micro-fundraisers until we are able to return to large, in-person events. A component of our traditional gala is the silent auction. Since we can’t gather at the moment, we decided to take the fun of the silent auction online! For three days, you’ll be able to bid on great items–just in time for Mother’s Day. Be a part of the excitement in the comfort of your home!
