HAHNVILLE, LA – Alpha Daughters of Zion, also known as A Safe Space of St. Charles Domestic Violence Advocacy and Support Program, has been selected as a beneficiary of the Community Bag Program for the month of August.
The Winn Dixie Community Bag Program, which launched in February 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Alpha Daughters of Zion was selected as the August beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Winn Dixie located at Winn-Dixie 12519 Airline Highway, Destrehan LA. ADOZ will receive a $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable Community Bag is purchased at this location during August, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
A Safe Space of St Charles changed its name from Alpha Daughters of Zion in early 2019. However, the federal registration process is in the final stages of approval. Therefore, the donations are being made under the previous name. No worries! Funds will be used to support services of A Safe Space.
